You told us: You're definitely intrigued by the Nothing Phone 1
Nothing finally released a few details about its upcoming smartphone, dubbed the Phone 1, last week. We got confirmation of a Snapdragon processor, three years of OS updates, four years of security patches, and a “fast and smooth” platform inspired by stock Android.
We wanted to gauge your interest in the Nothing Phone 1 after the company revealed these details, posting a poll in our news article. Here’s how you voted.
What do you think of the Nothing Phone 1 so far?
Results
The poll attracted over 3,500 votes and it turned out to be a close affair. 39.92% of polled readers said they were slightly interested in the first Nothing smartphone after the new details were revealed. Meanwhile, 39.3% of respondents said that they were very excited for the Phone 1.
However, almost 21% of polled readers said they had zero interest in the Nothing phone. At least a couple of reader comments suggested that Nothing needs to dish out concrete details for the phone.
Nevertheless, almost 80% of respondents are slightly interested or very excited, suggesting that Nothing could be on the right track with the little info it’s released so far.
Comments
- Kira: Is this a parody phone? Or Carl Pei wants to do a OnePlus redux using a different name?
- JWB: Not enough hard stats on this to make me even raise an eyebrow atm. Too vague for me (and I was a Oneplus owner before they got too high on their own hype)
- Dt Bell: I will wait and see..
