- It’s the cheapest Moto Mod to date with a $11.24 price tag.
Motorola has announced the Moto Folio, its cheapest Moto Mod to date. It’s basically a protective case that covers the back and front of a compatible smartphone, attaching to the back a device with the help of magnetic connectors, like the rest of the Moto Mods available.
The Moto Folio sports an inner pocket for storing a credit card, and a secure magnetic closure up front that keeps the case from popping open. It has a minimalistic design, comes in three colors — Super Black, Fine Gold, and Grape Juice — and works with the company’s entire Moto Z lineup of smartphones.
The case will add 55 g of weight to your device and increase its overall thickness by 3 mm. Due to its slim design, it’s not the best protective case you can get — but will still reduce the possibility of damaging your phone if it falls on a hard surface.
The Moto Folio is already available for purchase. You can get it from the company’s website for $11.24, which is a good deal if you ask me. Those of you interested can find it at the Motorola store via the button below.
