Announced in June, Motorola’s affordable Moto E4 can be yours for anywhere from $70 to $100, depending on where you buy the phone from. Starting July 31, however, that price will be even lower, thanks to the phone’s upcoming availability on MetroPCS.

As a refresher, the Moto E4 packs a fingerprint sensor that sits below the 5-inch 720p display, an 8 MP main shooter, and 5 MP selfie camera. Powering the phone are the quad-core Snapdragon 425 and 2 GB of RAM, with the 16 GB of storage augmentable through the microSD card slot. The 2,800 mAh battery promises to give the Moto E4 all-day endurance, while Motorola’s implementation of  Android 7.1 Nougat with Moto experiences helps keep the phone reasonably zippy.

More impressive is the phone’s price tag. When we checked out the Moto E4, we thought it obliterated the $100 threshold, thanks to how solid the experience was for the $70 you gave up. At $50, which is what MetroPCS will offer the Moto E4 for, we think the phone is the best one in its class by a significant margin.

Even more impressive, you can get the Moto E4 through T-Mobile’s prepaid brand for free, if you make the switch from another carrier. You do still have to pay the tax, as well as keep in mind that these prices are after instant rebate.

Regardless, if you are on the hunt for a cheap Android phone that gets the job done and nothing more, buying the Moto E4 through MetroPCS might be your best option if you want to save as much scratch as possible. The phone will be available starting July 31 online and through “participating locations” across the U.S.
