MAMMOTION brings its most capable robot mowers yet to IFA 2026

Mowing large lawns takes a lot of time and effort, and the work only gets harder when you have slopes, uneven ground, or tricky edges. While many homeowners now use robotic mowers, spots near walls, fences, and garden beds often still need finishing by hand. If you want a commercial-quality result, regular mowers usually can’t deliver.

At IFA 2026, MAMMOTION is showing two new products made to solve these challenges: the LUBA 4 AWD series for home lawns and Maston, the company’s first commercial mower. Here’s what you need to know.

A decade in the industry leads “To The Edge”

2026 is MAMMOTION’s 10th anniversary, and the company is marking the occasion by revealing its vision for the future of outdoor robotics. Over the years, MAMMOTION has served more than 750,000 customers in over 30 countries, and this experience is shaping its next moves.

IFA 2026’s theme, “To The Edge,” highlights a common challenge in automated lawn care: getting to the hardest spots. While robotic mowers have already figured out how to cut the grass, the next challenge requires better answers to what it takes to finish the job. Steep slopes, thick garden beds, and lawn borders are where most robotic mowers struggle.

MAMMOTION’s new products are built to handle these issues. But rather than chasing one headline feature, MAMMOTION takes a broader approach with upgrades that get closer to a gardener’s care standard: Sees More, Moves Smarter, and Cuts Closer. With everything put together, the ultimate goal is for you to spend less time working on your yard and more time enjoying it.

LUBA 4 AWD: a mower built for complex lawns

The highlight of MAMMOTION’s IFA 2026 display is the LUBA 4 AWD, its new top-of-the-line robotic mower. While most robotic mowers can manage the open center of a lawn, the LUBA 4 AWD is built to reach right up to the edges, thanks to improved navigation, smoother movement, and special edge coverage.

The new Tri-Fusion navigation system uses four wide-angle cameras to cover the front, sides, and back, along with 360-degree LiDAR and NetRTK positioning. These three sensor layers work together in real time to reduce drift and keep the mower’s mapping accurate, even in changing light or under dense trees.

And with its wraparound cameras and LiDAR, the LUBA 4 AWD can detect obstacles even outside its direct view. You don’t need to bury a perimeter wire or set up an RTK base station to get started. The mower can map your lawn on its own.

The LUBA 4 AWD features independent front-wheel steering and four-wheel torque vectoring on its all-wheel-drive system. This lets it move smoothly in both directions, instead of making sharp U-turns at the end of each row. This approach is better for your lawn, since turning in place can tear grass and leave tracks, while gentle arcs keep the surface looking good.

The mower can handle slopes up to 80% (38.6 degrees), so it won’t have trouble with uneven parts of your lawn.

There are three sizes to choose from. The 3000F and 6000F models have two cutting discs and a 440mm cutting width, while the 12000F has three discs and a 530mm width. The 3000F and 6000F cut from 25mm to 100mm high, and the 12000F from 25mm to 85mm. Each deck floats on six pivoting blades, so it follows your lawn’s shape and avoids scalping or missing spots.

For lawn borders, MAMMOTION offers an optional edge-trimming attachment for the LUBA 4 AWD. This lets it cut right up against walls, fences, and garden beds. The edge trimming is part of the same automatic mowing routine, so you don’t need to use a separate string trimmer.

Maston: MAMMOTION’s first commercial mowing platform

Maston is MAMMOTION’s first step into commercial grounds care. After being previewed at CES 2026, it’s now launching at IFA as a complete solution for large lawns and turf.

Maston comes in two versions, both using a triangular three-disc cutting system. Maston Rotary has three 500W motors that spin up to 6,000 RPM, making it ideal for thick, tall, or rough grass. It has a 62cm cutting width and can cover up to 24,000 square meters per day.

The Maston Flail is designed for a finer cut, with a minimum height of just 10mm, precise height adjustment, and a 68cm deck that can mow up to 40,000 square meters daily. Its floating deck follows uneven ground, and the dual-layer mulching blades with optimized airflow help keep clippings small and prevent clogging, even in wet or dense grass.

Both Maston models work with MAMMOTION’s new Fleet Management platform and app, so operators can see machine locations, mowing progress, and status for multiple sites in one place. Remote diagnostics help reduce the need for manual checks.

Maston uses all-wheel drive with independent wheel suspension for better grip on rough ground, and it can climb slopes up to 70% (35 degrees) while handling roots, branches, and uneven terrain. Zero-turn front steering helps avoid damaging turf on sharp turns, and hill-hold assist keeps the mower steady on slopes.

Maston uses its own version of the Tri-Fusion 2.0 Intelligent Perception System, powered by a 10 TOPS AI processor. It combines a rear camera, four ultrasonic sensors, 360-degree LiDAR, NetRTK, and dual-camera AI vision for precise, centimeter-level positioning without needing perimeter wire. NetRTK is free for life through the iNavi Service, and 4G lets you monitor the mower remotely.

The quick-swap battery and 500W fast charger keep downtime low, with smart charging that uses off-peak hours when possible to protect battery life. The modular design lets technicians quickly replace parts like cutting units, motors, batteries, control boards, wheels, or sensors, speeding up field maintenance.

Pricing and availability

The LUBA 4 AWD series is available in three sizes for different lawn areas: the 3000F covers up to 0.75 acres (3,000 square meters), the 6000F up to 1.5 acres (6,000 square meters), and the 12000F up to 3 acres (12,000 square meters). Pre-orders start in Q4 of this year.

The Maston series is already available for pre-order from authorized distributors in Europe and Australia.
