Poll: Have you received low storage warnings on your Android TV device?
Android TV or Google TV is the most popular TV box platform around, also powering a host of smart TVs. Between the Google integration, variety of apps, and somewhat open nature, there are plenty of reasons to use the platform. However, these devices often come with a paltry amount of storage.
Fortunately, Google recently rolled out a new Google TV update to address matters. This update includes an option to quickly free up storage as well as a tweak to reduce storage-related errors when installing apps. That got us wondering whether readers have received low storage warnings on their Google TV or Android TV devices. So let us know by taking the poll below.
Have you received low storage alerts on your Android TV device?
Obviously, this question is aimed at people who own Google TV/Android TV boxes or TVs in the first place. So go ahead and skip the poll if you don’t have these devices in your household.
As for me? Well, I’ve got an NVIDIA Shield TV Tube and I receive low storage alerts every few weeks at the very least. It doesn’t help that I accidentally bought the wrong microSD card for the device. Nevertheless, I hope that the “free up space” option in the new Google TV update eventually lands on NVIDIA devices.
