Lego Lord of the Rings

There’s something infinitely addictive about LEGO. Whether it’s the colored plastic blocks or the LEGO games based on your favorite movies, there’s just no putting them down. After arriving on consoles more than three years ago, LEGO Lord of the Rings is now in Google Play.

LEGO Lord of the Rings encompasses all three of the films, so you can play along with all of J. R. R. Tolkien’s legendary characters through your favorite locations in Middle Earth. Everything is tied together with the familiar overview map and the locations themselves are based on the Warner Bros. films.

There are over 90 playable characters, including Gandalf, Aragorn, Samwise, Frodo, Legolas and Gimli and you can even unlock Sauron and the Nazgûl. To add to the atmosphere, there are dialogue snippets from the films interspersed throughout the gameplay as you fight your way to Mount Doom.

LEGO Lord of the Rings costs $4.99 and has no in-app purchases. However, as with many other Warner Bros. games, be careful if you’re running Marshmallow. While the Play Store reviews are positive right now, bugs, crashes, incompatibility with Android 6.0 and lack of customer support tend to follow most Warner Bros. games around.
