Poll: Will you stick with LastPass free with its new limitations? Let us know!
Yesterday, LastPass announced some major changes for its free tier. Starting in mid-March, non-paying users will only be able to use the service on one of two platform categories, namely PC or mobile. That means you won’t be able to use the service on both your laptop and your phone. You’ll need to pick one or the other.
Obviously, people who fork out the cash for the premium version of the service won’t have this limitation. The company likely hopes that at least some free users will start paying for the service after this change goes into effect.
However, judging from the comments and tweets we saw yesterday when this news broke, LastPass users are not happy with this change. They could be displeased enough to drop the company altogether and move on. Are you one of those folks?
With the new policy changes, will you stick with LastPass free?
Hit the poll above and let us know how you’re feeling about this significant change. If you’re one of the people who is leaving LastPass behind, let us know where you’re going in the comments.
