How to update Chrome on Android
You can update Chrome exactly the same way as you would any other app on your Android device. It’s extremely easy to do and shouldn’t take more than a minute or so. The first thing you have to do is visit the Google Play Store via the app on your Android device. Then just open up the menu and select “My apps & games”, which will show you the list of all the apps that can be updated.
The last step is to scroll down and find Chrome and then just tap on the “Update” button positioned on the right side. The app will be updated and once the process is finished, you’ll get a notification on your device.
We have also prepared step by step instructions with screenshots for how to update Chrome on an Android device, which you can check out below.
Step 1: Visit the Google Play Store via the app on your smartphone

How to update Chrome on PC
Updating the Chrome browser on your PC is also extremely easy and doesn’t take a lot of time if you know where to look. Just click on the icon (three vertical dots) in the top right corner of the browser, which will show you a bunch of different options. Then just click on “Help” and choose “About Google Chrome”. That will open up a tab where you’ll see whether or not Chrome is up to date.
If it’s not, you’ll see an update button that you should click. Then just wait until the browser gets bumped up to the latest version. Once the update is complete, you have to close and reopen Chrome to complete the process. You can do that by clicking the “Relaunch” button that appears after the browser has been updated.
Just as with the Chrome update for Android devices described above, you’ll find detailed step by step instructions with screenshots below.
