Google posts three new ads for Pixel featuring YouTube superstars
Pixel phones are nothing like Nexus phones, and I’m not just talking about the design. Unlike any other previous Nexus phones, Google is really taking ownership of the Pixel duo. I’m seeing advertisements for it everywhere: offline and online. And Google has just released three more commercials for its Pixel smartphones featuring three huge YouTube stars: Connor Franta, Alisha Marie, and Todrick Hall.
The first one we have is with Todrick Hall, who is super famous for his musical spoofs. The talented singer goes around Hollywood to design his own jacket using Google’s all-new Assistant. The ad does an excellent job highlighting just how easy it is to launch Assistant and ask away. See for yourself:
The second video is with Alisha Marie, a Californian-native who vlogs about her daily routines, makeup, and fashion ideas and garners millions of views on YouTube. She goes on a glamping (glamorous camping, FYI) trip with her friends and uses her Pixel phone’s advanced camera to take videos and photos.
The last ad features Connor Franta, another extremely popular vlogger, who tells us all about Google Duo: its Knock Knock feature and the fact that it can be installed on Android as well as on iOS. There are a lot of puppies involved, so brace yourselves:
There you go – it seems like Google is really pouring its heart and soul into promoting the Pixel duo. What are your thoughts? Cool ads or nah? Let us know by commenting below!
