Maitas Duarte Bloomberg

Matias Duarte, Vice President of Design at Google, has been in countless interviews with Joshua Topolsky over the years, talking about design, technology and so much more. He’s one of the more influential designers in the technology space, mainly when it comes to mobile devices. Responsible for some of Google’s biggest design changes in recent years, Mr. Duarte has also been deeply involved in Android’s evolution over the years, making it the mature mobile operating system we know it as today. So, when he talks about design (or basically anything else) it shouldn’t be missed.

He joins Joshua Topolsky on the Tomorrow podcast for episode 30, in which they talk about Mr. Duarte’s designing process, the evolution of the smartphone, how to make hard design decisions, what role he played in the recent redesign of Google’s logo, and much more.

Episode 30 of Tomorrow with Joshua Topolsky runs for about 70 minutes, and is definitely worth a listen if you’re at all interested in design, technology or Android. If you have a few extra minutes to spare, make sure to give it a listen!
