Google widens rollout of Find Hub's handy new 'Remembered Items' feature

Google is now rolling out a handy new feature for Find Hub that can help you remember where you put important items. Google’s Mishaal Rahman announced that the “Remembered Items” tab is now widely available as part of the September Android Drop.

The feature allows you to ask Gemini to remember where you put an item. Gemini then adds the item and its location in Find Hub. For instance, you can tell Google something like, “Hey Google, remember I put my keys in my top drawer,” and Gemini will save this information in Find Hub. You can also add a photo to help you recall the location of the item.

If you forget where you put the item, you can simply ask Gemini where to find it. Alternatively, you can open the Remembered Items tab in Find Hub to see the information you saved.

The feature could be particularly useful for things you don’t carry around regularly, such as spare keys, passports, documents, or other important items.

To use the feature, make sure the Find Hub app is updated to version 3.1.732-02 from Google Play.

It’s also worth pointing out that this announcement is part of the September Android Drop, rather than the September Pixel Drop. The latter is a separate update that’s expected to start rolling out to Pixel devices any day now.
