Gionee, a China-based smartphone manufacturer, launched its S11 last month in China. Now it’s on its way to India in January, according to information from Techook.

The S11 is geared towards the youth demographic with a focus on camera quality. Speaking of camera quality, the S11 features dual-camera sensors on the front of the device as well as the back. The rear camera is housing a 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel pairing, with the front one featuring a 16-megapixel sensor, as well as an 8-megapixel sensor. The device also features a 6.1-inch AMOLED display sporting a 2160 x 1800 resolution.

The device is powered by the MediaTek P30 SoC and 4 or 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. You can also increase the storage capacity with the included microSD card slot. If you don’t need more storage, you can also use the hybrid slot for a dual-SIM configuration.

The Indian smartphone market isn’t the easiest to break into, but with an affordable price tag, the Gionee S11 could prove to be a good option. Gionee has been trying to break into the market for a while now, with the launch of its Indian plant, and F103 smartphone which was made in India.

The device features a 3,410 mAh battery pack, and Gionee’s own Amigo OS skin on top of Android Nougat 7.1. It currently sells for RMB 1799 in China, which roughly translates to $275 USD or INR 17,637.
