Gear S accessories: colorful bands and bangles in the works

Unlike traditional watches which are usually designed for one specific fashion look, smartwatches can be of a much more playful nature to suit a variety of looks, labels, and likes.

The new Gear S wearable has the honor of being the first of its product line to include a SIM slot allowing for truly autonomous functionality. With the device set to launch in additional markets immediately, the potential customer base is about to get a whole lot larger.

To appeal to this worldwide audience, a cornucopia of bands are in the works to allow owners to provide a better element of personalization while typing out an e-mail on their wrist.

The Gear S is packaged with a standard Dynamic Black colored Wrist Watch Strap, however five additional colors will soon be available: Blue Black, Cobalt Blue, Mocha Grey, Supreme Red, and Dynamic White. Judging by the product’s UK webpage, it looks like the watch will be available in white from the get-go, though Japan only has Black.

In addition, a two Bangle Watch Straps will be available in either black or white, offering a more thicker, heartier design for a sightly different fashion approach.

There is no word yet on pricing for these colorful options, however $30-40 would seem to be a safe bet.
