- Dragon Nest M, a remake of the anime-style PC game Dragon Nest, is now available on Android.
- It’s free-to-play, with a stamina system and premium currency like in other mobile MMOs.
- There are exclusive rewards available for returning players from the PC version.
The mobile adaptation of the anime-style PC MMORPG Dragon Nest is now officially available on Android. It’s called Dragon Nest M, and it features the same graphics and gameplay as the game it’s based on, with a few small changes to make it more mobile friendly.
Dragon Nest M is a free-to-play action MMO that features six gender-locked classes upon release. The most notable change for the mobile version is an auto battle mode, putting it in line with other mobile MMORPGs on Android. One of its main draws is highly customizable characters, with elaborate costumes to dress them up in.
Like its peers, Dragon Nest M features a stamina system that limits the amount of dungeons you can enter, as well as a premium currency to speed up progress. There are also two different PvP modes, and fortunately for f2p players, stats are normalized across the board.
The game was first launched in South Asian countries a few months ago, although some users reported that it was playable in all regions. In any case, it’s available worldwide now. In order to attract fans of the PC release, there is a special program offering exclusive rewards for returning players. You can find out more here.
Dragon Nest M joins a number of other reworks of classic Asian MMORPGS on Android, including Lineage 2: Revolution and MapleStory M. Only time will tell if the game is able to catch on like its competitors, but it already has nearly 1.5 million likes on its official Facebook page.
