Back in August, LeEco and Coolpad have joined forces and announced the affordable Cool1 smartphone. We are now happy to report that the device will soon be available on the Indian market.

The Coolpad Cool1 will come in two different variants. You’ll be able to get your hands on a model with either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. Both devices will, however, have 32 GB of storage. The interesting part is that they will share the same price tag — Rs. 13,999. But you’ll only be able to order the 4 GB model online from Amazon India, while the 3 GB version of the device will only be available in brick-and-mortar stores.

Online sales start on January 5, while the offline availability hasn’t been announced yet. The devices will come in Silver or Gold.

The Cool1 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by the Snapdragon 652 processor. Its biggest selling point is probably the 13 MP dual camera setup on the back that utilizes a monochrome and color sensor. The device is quite easy on the eyes and sports a magnesium alloy metal body. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back, a 4,060 mAh battery, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board.
