Claude can now turn your boring data into live dashboards and animations
Oct 9, 2026 — 2:47 AM ET

- Anthropic has launched two new Claude features today: Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion.
- Claude can now create live dashboards from a connected data platform or CRM tool.
- It can also turn reports and charts into short, fully editable animations.
If you’ve been following Claude-related news over the past few weeks, it would be easy to think all Anthropic’s been doing is releasing new Claude models. We got Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, and Haiku 5.5 over just a couple of weeks. But the company is also working on adding new and useful features to Claude.
In a blog post, Anthropic announced two new Claude features: Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion. With Dashboards, you can now connect a data platform or CRM tool to Claude, ask it a question, and Claude will create a custom dashboard. Dashboards built by Claude are live, so they update as the source data changes.
Users can also share these dashboards with their analytics and business intelligence tools for advanced analysis. Claude Dashboards can be shared with platforms such as Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, and others. Support for Looker, monday.com, and Tableau is coming soon.
Claude Motion, on the other hand, can turn your product walkthroughs, reports, and charts into short animations. You can make edits directly within Claude, and because the animation is built with code, you can easily change any element. You can export the video as an MP4 file, so you can drop it into a dedicated video editing tool for more advanced edits.
Claude Dashboards is available in beta on all paid plans, while Motion is currently available in beta on Teams and Enterprise plans. There’s no word on whether these tools will make their way to users on the free plan.
Meanwhile, the company also announced that Claude Docs, Slides, and Design are now out of beta. These tools are now available to all Claude users, including those on the free plan.
