Google’s Chromecast has already proven hugely popular with media consumers around the world and Indian film-buffs should be next to join the media streaming phenomenon. Sources are suggesting that the Chromecast is set to go on sale in India on December 9th, that’s tomorrow.

The source states that an official announcement will be made tomorrow at the Google Online Shopping Festival. Although popular Indian e-commerce retailer Flipkart may have pulled out of Google’s Shopping Festival, the tech company is still apparently teaming up with a local e-commerce partner to launch its Chomecast in India. The little streaming device will floridly be made available through Snapdeal.

The Chromecast is a USB stick sized media streaming device that allows users to browse videos and media content on their smart device and send it to play on their larger living room TV.
