The hilarious and snarky Carrot Weather is finally available for Android

Previously an iOS-exclusive app, Carrot Weather makes the jump to Android and barely sacrifices anything. The general interface presents you with the current weather, as well as the weather for the next 12 hours and seven days.
Additional information, such as humidity, dew point, pressure, visibility, and more, is available when you tap on any hour of the current day. You also get weather alerts on the top left that are specific to your location.
Dark Sky serves as the backend and provides precise precipitation information.

The main attraction is the witty and sarcastic “artificial superintelligence” robot that chimes in with over 6,000 lines of dialogue about the weather and current events. You can even change the bot’s personality and political alignment.
Personality options being Friendly, Snarky, Homicidal, and the profanity-laden Overkill. Political options include Liberal, Conservative, Centrist, Libertarian, Communist, and Apolitical.
Carrot Weather also features Secret Locations, which sarcastically provides you with hints for you to find locations around the world. The mode includes 42 locations, though more will be added with future updates.
If you pay for the Premium Club, which is $3.99 each year, you also gain access to Time Travel. The feature lets you view the weather up to 70 years in the past, so you can see how hot it was back when people did not have the luxury of air conditioning.
Alternatively, you can pay $0.99 each month or nothing at all and still use Carrot Weather. Just keep in mind that Premium Club also removes ads and includes two widgets.
