The official release of Marshmallow for the BlackBerry Priv might not be rolling out until May, but that doesn’t mean users have to wait to experience the latest version of Android. As previously rumored, BlackBerry is now allowing Priv owners to beta test Android 6.0 Marshmallow before its official release.

There are a few things to know before signing up. The registration period will only be open for about two weeks, and the beta test will start sometime during the second week of April. Once it goes live, the beta will last anywhere from 4-8 weeks. If all goes well after that, the official Marshmallow build will be pushed out to devices around the world.

BlackBerry notes that there’s limited space in the beta program. It looks like it’s currently full at the moment, but users do have the ability to sign in to join the waitlist. Also, to be in the first wave of beta testers, you must own a Priv purchased from ShopBlackBerry, Amazon or Carphone Warehouse. Other device owners will be accepted eventually, but won’t be accepted into the program at the start.

Remember, this is a beta program, so you might want to be prepared to experience some bugs. Interested in trying it out? You can sign up at the link attached below.
