Users can mix and match the various pieces for a customizable sound. It doesn’t make traditional white noise. However, it’s one of the better new age white noise apps that uses actual noises. It also includes a timer, binaural audio, and more. It is free with ads. A single $2.49 purchase removes ads. There are also optional donation options as well.
Noise Generator

Noise Generator is a more traditional white noise app. It also offers a variety of other noises, including brown, pink, white, blue, and violet noise. It uses various filters to cut out the appropriate noise for whatever color noise you want. The UI is fairly easy to use. Some other features include customization sliders and a small APK size. This is probably the best you can find for traditional sounding white noise and other colors as well. It’s a free app with advertising. We would’ve liked a way to pay to remove ads, but the app is otherwise outstanding.

White Noise by TMSoft is a popular white noise generator. It features 40 sounds in total. They include various nature sounds, stuff like oscillating fans, and even the traditional brown/pink/white noise. The app does a particularly good job looping audio and it even includes Chromecast support in case you want these noises on your TV. It also has basic stuff like alarms, timers, and advanced settings in case you need them. The free version has advertising and the pro version removes those ads. It’s pretty decent overall.

White Noise Generator by Maple Media is a pretty decent white noise app. It boasts well over a dozen types of noise. You can play as many or as few of them as you want. Each sound has its own volume slider to increase or decrease its intensity in your mix. Maple Media has a variety of other noise generation apps with a bunch of other sound effects. The UI for this one is simple and the app includes stuff like timers and a cheap price tag. There isn’t much else to say. It’s a good app for what it does. This app is also free with Google Play Pass if you have it.

White Noise: Sleep Sounds by Dream_Studio is another decent white noise app. It features 30 sounds across a variety of categories, including rain, fire, snow, waterfall, wind, and more. It even has traditional white noise, pink noise, and brown noise as well. Some other features include auto-pause, a timer, and bookmarking your favorite sounds. The app is useful for a variety of situations, but mostly things like meditation, sleep, or studying. This one is free with advertising.
