ASUS Zenfone 6 with 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and flippy cam available now in US
The ASUS Zenfone 6 is one of our favorite smartphones released this year, due in no small part to its innovative flipping camera design. If you live in the United States, you may have found it difficult to get your hands on the device, but now there’s a new maxed-out version available directly from the manufacturer.
The ASUS Zenfone 6 “Edition 30” is mostly the same as the regular edition but comes with more RAM, more internal storage, a new Matte Black colorway, and some new special packaging. The device is called the Edition 30 to celebrate 30 years of ASUS’ existence.
Just how much memory is ASUS cramming into this device? How about a ridiculous 12GB of RAM and an astounding 512GB of internal storage? That’s certainly enough to satiate anyone looking for maximum performance.

Additionally, the ASUS Zenfone 6 Edition 30 comes with a 30-month warranty, which is a cheeky touch. Inside the box, you’ll find the same accessories that come with the standard edition: a clear case, earbuds, a charging brick, and the usual manuals.
As a refresher, the Zenfone 6 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, a massive 5,000mAh battery, a dual-lens camera with a 48MP main sensor that operates both as the rear- and front-facing system, and a headphone jack. It comes running Android 9 Pie overlayed with ZenUI 6.
The ASUS Zenfone 6 Edition 30 will set you back $900, about $300 more than the 8GB/256GB edition. However, all other editions are currently sold out on ASUS’ US-based website, so the Edition 30 is your only options as of now.
As a final note, keep in mind that the Zenfone 6 is GSM-only, so it will not work on Verizon, Sprint, or other CDMA carriers in the US.
