Amazon knocks 25% off the Arlo Pro 6 4-camera indoor/outdoor security setup

Amazon has knocked $59.50 off the Arlo Pro Wireless Security Camera 2K HDR (6th Gen) 4-Cam kit, bringing it down to $180.49 from its $239.99 RRP. That is a 25% discount relative to the recommended retail price, and it is the kind of drop that makes a premium home security setup a lot more tempting right now.

This is also the lowest price we have seen in months, which gives this deal a bit more weight if you have been waiting for a better time to buy. While it is not the lowest price of the year, it is still a strong cut on a 4-camera bundle from a well-known smart security brand.

The Arlo Pro 6 setup is a wire-free indoor-and-outdoor system built around Arlo’s 6th Gen Pro cameras. You get 2K HDR video, which delivers sharper detail than standard 1080p, along with a 160° field of view to cover more of your space. The cameras also include color night vision, an integrated spotlight, two-way audio, and a built-in siren.

On the connectivity side, the system supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and works with Arlo SmartHub and Base Station setups. The cameras run on rechargeable batteries and are positioned as having improved battery life over earlier Pro models. Smart alerts for people, vehicles, animals, and packages are included, though some advanced features are tied to a paid plan. A limited trial of Arlo Secure or Arlo Secure Plus is commonly included with bundles like this.

At $180.49 for four Arlo Pro 6 cameras, this Amazon deal is a solid chance to save on a feature-packed wireless security kit.
