Update: Anker is now selling the Nebula Capsule, its miniature Bluetooth speaker/Android projector, via The device, from Anker sub-brand Nebula, originally appeared on Indiegogo where it was available in limited quantities at $199 and $269.

Anker has now officially launched the device at CES 2018, and it's available for $349. This is the soda can-sized speaker/projector combo that can project up to 100-inch content at 854 x 480 resolution. It's also said to be good for up to 30 hours of music playback or 4 hours of video content.

You can pick it up on Amazon via the button below, and find out what else you need to know about it in our original coverage underneath.

A few months ago, Anker started selling the Nebula Mars, a high-end Android projector and speaker that could run apps on its own, without the need to link to an external device. However, that projector had a high-end price tag (it currently sells on Amazon for about $600). Today, Anker, which is best known for its external battery packs, launched the Nebula Capsule, a much smaller Android projector and speaker that is also much more affordable and can go pretty much anywhere.

Like the Nebula Mars, the Nebula Capsule runs on Android (in this case Android 7.0 Nougat) so owners can download and project apps like Netflix, YouTube and others without the need to use a smartphone. You can still control the projector with a smartphone app, or you can use its included remote control. However, it can still mirror and project the screen of any device that supports Airplay or Miracast. The small size of the Capsule (4.7 by 2.7 inches, about the size of a standard soda can) means it is extremely portable. The DLP projector can last up to 2.5 hours on a single charge with a brightness of 100 lumens, which should allow you to watch at least one movie on battery power.

The projector has a resolution of 854 x 480 and can project up to 150 inches on a wall or ceiling. Inside the Capsule, which comes in black and red colors, is also a full 360-degree speaker, and Anker says the whole thing can be recharged in about 90 minutes. While the Capsule will have a regular price of $349 when it officially launches, the Indiegogo early bird sale will let you buy it ahead of time for as low as $249, if you hurry. Anker is also selling the speaker in two bundles. One adds a tripod and case, the other adds an Anker 10,500 mAh external battery. Both bundles are priced at $299.
