TL;DR
  • The subscription service known as Kindle Unlimited has a new name.
  • Amazon has rebranded the service to Kindle Plus.
  • The rules of the service are still the same.

For avid readers, Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited subscription is very convenient. It gives you access to the company’s extensive collection of media, lets you borrow up to 20 titles at a time, and so on. While it’s long been known as Kindle Unlimited, the service is now undergoing its first-ever major rebrand.

Get ready to say goodbye to the name Kindle Unlimited. Just like every other subscription service these days, the new name will have a Plus in it. Amazon has quietly updated its website and support documentation to rebrand the service to Kindle Plus.

The change appears to be only surface-level, as the rules of the subscription remain the same as before. You also still have access to Amazon’s library of books, books with audio, and comics. Even the price is the same as before, costing $11.99 per month.

In short, you now have a new name to remember for the subscription you’ve been using. Do you like the name Kindle Plus? Let us know in the comments how you feel about the brand shift.
