The Tapo MagCam C425 is down to $59.99 on Amazon right now, which knocks $30 off its $89.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 33% discount relative to the RRP, and it’s a deal worth a look if you’ve been meaning to add an outdoor security camera without spending too much.

This wire-free camera is built for spots where running a power cable would be a pain. It records in 2K QHD, uses a rechargeable battery, and comes with a magnetic mount that makes placement and angle changes quick. Tapo also says you can get up to 300 days of battery life under light use, which helps reduce charging.

For day-to-day use, the MagCam C425 includes color night vision, built-in spotlights, and smart detection for people, pets, and vehicles. It’s made for indoor or outdoor use, and storage is flexible too, with local microSD support plus optional cloud recording. It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant, so it can fit into a wider smart home setup.

While this isn’t quite the lowest price we’ve seen this year, it is even cheaper than it was on Prime Day, which makes the current offer stand out. Getting 2K video, wire-free placement, and smart detection for under $60 is a strong value, especially if you want coverage in an area where plugging in a camera isn’t practical.
