Announced back in September, Sony’s Xperia E3 was the company’s most recent foray into the budget-friendly world. Although only available in India, the handset launched for 11,990 INR, and boasted a 4.5-inch screen, came with LTE capabilities and also ran Android 4.4 KitKat. Now it seems that we may have our first look at its successor, as the Sony Xperia E4 has reportedly surfaced in a set of leaked images.

The photos that were released show the front screen, along with a close-up shot of the familiar Sony power button on one side. In the pictures, the bezels seem to have shrunk, and the device looks bigger compared to the E3. The overall design looks pretty nice, and well, it looks like another Sony handset.

Rumor has it that the E4 will bring a 5-inch quarter-HD display, along with a MediaTek MT6582 processor. Judging by the leaked photos, this looks like it could be the next “E” series device. We could potentially see Sony launch the E4 at MWC 2015, with sales starting not too long after that. As for the phone, we’re going to have to wait and see what Sony comes up with in the next few months.
