While you can see that the system is less than speedy, it is nice to see that somebody has ported the current Android OS 1.0 system to Nokia’s Internet Tablet platform.  In this particular case the somebody is the NthCode, and the particular Internet Tablet in question is the keyboard equipped N810.

In fact, NthCode’s CEO, Peter McDermott, wrote up a nice summary on the entire porting process, even going into details about the differences between the various Linux kernel versions and what Google and Nokia changed in them.  It’s an interesting read for you dev-heads out there.
