Target app updated with Black Friday deal location maps, making it easier to find stuff

Just last week Target outed their Black Friday promotions, giving us a chance to figure out the best deals in anticipation of the hectic Friday morning that will be upon us soon enough. Now they want to make the experience on that day a little less chaotic it seems, as Target has revealed it is teaming up with Point Inside to bring improvements to its existing in-store maps that will actually show you were all the deals are located at.

The way the new map update works is that when you enter a store and open up the app, you’ll be provided with a BF deal’s actual on aisle location, taking the guesswork out of the experience. As someone who knows that sometimes random electronics end up in the garden section of big box stores during this maddening shopping event, the idea of an online map certainty sounds like a welcome change.
