Update: As expected, the Stars Wars collection is now available on Google Play! For those that don’t want the whole collection (for $89), you can individually buy episodes for $20 a piece.

Over the years Star Wars has made its way over to a variety of different platforms including VHS, DVD, and Blu-Ray. It’s 2015, though, and digital is the future. For the first time ever, the entire six movie collection is making its way to the digital arena, though Google Play, Amazon, and several other online services.

Starting April 10th, Disney will offer up the collection as a whole or you can buy your favorite movies individually. The collection is set at $89 through the Google Play store, with each movie costing $20 a piece. For those wondering, the digital release is the “Special Edition” with newer effects and extras added in. There’s also bonus features like documentaries, interviews, deleted scenes and more.

For Star Wars purists, Disney has no plans to release the “original” unmodified Star Wars early episodes on digital at this point, though there have been rumors that this might happen for the Blu-Ray edition, so anything is possible. Now only one question still remains, will you be watching through all the movies in episodic order, release order, or using the Machete order?
