Plants vs Zombies 2 gets new Far Future world: more plants, more zombies, more havoc
Load your vegetables, a whole new world is coming to the perennially popular Plants vs Zombies.
Version 2.1.1 of Plants vs Zombies 2 brings the Far Future world, treating gardeners-with-a-zombies-problem with 24 new levels, one new endless zone, one upgrade, one boss battle, and seven new plants to wreak havoc with. The update, now hitting devices everywhere weighs a sizeable 362MB, so you should probably wait for a Wi-Fi connection, unless you’re blessed with affordable unlimited connectivity.
The Far Future expansion also brings back the popular Zen Garden mode, which lets you supplement your in-game funds by playing mini-games, as well as Power Tiles, which let you expand the effects of Plant Food across the entire battlefield.
After you update, the new world will be listed in your universe picker, from where you’ll be able to unlock it with a key or with an in-app purchase of $4.99.
