Google has just released the October Android security patch for all current Nexus and Pixel devices. Both factory images and OTA images are available for download from Google’s developer sites, and over-the-air updates should arrive to devices soon enough.

Oddly enough, Google’s LTE-enabled Nexus 9 was left out of the security patch list, and, unfortunately, the Nexus 6 still hasn’t gotten an update to Nougat. Google did release a Marshmallow-based security patch for the Nexus 6, though, so at least that’s something.

Most other devices seem to have received proper security patches, including the Nexus 6P (NBD90X), Nexus 5X (NBD90W), Pixel C (NRD91D), Nexus 9 Wi-Fi (NRD91D), and Nexus Player (NRD91D). The Nexus 6 and Nexus 5’s build numbers are MOB31H and M4B30X, respectively.

You can download October’s Android security patch factory images here, and OTA images here. Google has also posted a new Android Security Bulletin detailing the vulnerabilities patched in this new update.
