If you’ve got an active lifestyle and you’re still using wired headphones, then I don’t know what you’re doing with your life. It’s okay, you probably just don’t know any better. Nobody goes back to wired earbuds after they’ve experienced the convenient glory of Bluetooth. If you’ve ever needed a better reason to make the switch, then you’re in luck. Today JayBird unveiled their newest wireless earbuds for the Freedom line, and they are very tiny.

In fact, JayBird says they are the smallest earbuds the company has ever produced. The “smallest ever,” if their advertising is to be believed. Although these earbuds take some design cues from their Sport series and the Freedom X series, they are nevertheless clearly at home with the previous versions of the Freedom line. The buds are 20 percent thinner than anything else JayBird produces, and this tiny size is achieved by putting most of the headphone’s tech in the attached control module rather than in the earpieces. The battery on these little music machines will last you about four hours, but each one comes with a small portable charger so you can squeeze out some more juice on the go.

These headphones hit the market today for $199. What do you think of the latest product coming down the pipe from JayBird? Just what you’ve been looking for, or too tiny for your tastes? Let us know in the comments below!
