(Update: UScellular too) LG G5 Android 7.0 Nougat update rolling out on T-Mobile

Android 7.0 Nougat is now rolling out to UScellular LG G5 owners. The 1.5 GB download includes November's security patch, which has also gone out to T-Mobile customers.

Update, November 30: UScellular has also begun its rollout of the Nougat update for the LG G5. Build number US99223A is a pretty hefty download at over 1.5 GB so be sure you have ample space and battery life before embarking on this epic update.

Original post, November 29: Android 7.0 Nougat is now rolling out to LG G5 owners with T-Mobile. The 1.2 GB download, which includes November 1st’s Android security patches, delivers the stock Nougat features like split-screen mode, Doze improvements and more.

The Nougat update brings the device up to build number NRD90U but it’s yet to be outlined on T-Mobile’s support page. Reddit users and those at the XDA Developers forums have confirmed its availability, however.

If you’re an LG G5 owner with T-Mobile you should receive the update notification OTA soon. Alternatively, you can go to settings > general > about phone > update centre > system update > check for update, to see if it’s ready to be downloaded manually.
