Despite being one of the best companies to work for, Google has had trouble keeping some of its best talent around. Why? Well, sometimes it’s not about which company you work for, or even how awesome your work is. Talented Googlers might want to start their own projects, and the Search Giant is said to be looking into helping them do just that.

A new report from The Information claims the Search Giant is starting its own in-house incubator, where employees would be allowed to launch their own startups. Of course, they would get help from Google in terms of space and funding (maybe more?).

The plan would be to help them grow into their own company, with Google as an investor. This would be months (no specific time frame) after the team has been working full-time on their innovations, as well as a business plan.

Other details are scarce for now. In fact, who knows if this is even going to pan out. It continues to be a rumor coming from unknown “sources”. If it all works out, we will probably learn more about it soon enough.

This is certainly a good way to spark innovation from the people over at Google. This company only hires the best talent around, so we are sure they have a lot to offer to the industry. And these are things they probably wouldn’t be able to accomplish working with Google over their shoulder. Hopefully we can see great things coming from said move.
