Google Play Store lists a couple of games with the price of just $0.01

The Google Play Store frequently has discounts on many games and apps, but for the first time a couple of Android games in the store are currently being sold for the price of just $0.01. Yep, that just one US penny.

The two games in question are Lost Journey, a space-based puzzle adventure game from publisher DreamSky, and the oddly named Armpit Hero: VIP, an action-RPG from publisher Candy Soft. Both are participating in the the Google Play Store’s Year End Deals sales discount event.

A paid game has never been sold on the Google Play Store for the price of just a penny, but for the moment, that is the only price you will pay for these games. It’s highly likely that the low, low price tag may have been put in place in error. The Lost Journey listing says its normal $0.99 price has been reduced down by 90 percent as a result of that sale, but some simple math shows that should not equal a price cut down to a penny.
