It’s Wednesday and that inevitably means that we’ll be seeing at least a few updates to Google apps, in the typical Wednesday tradition. With that in mind, Google Play Movies has now received a new update that brings several new features to the mix.

Although the change-log still lists the updates from the previous version, Gapps Early notes that some of the changes include new info cards, UI enhancements, multi-account support on the slider and some changes to the closed caption settings.

Although none of the changes are necessarily world-changing, the newly updated app is still more than worth the download and there are likely at least a few other changes that have yet to be spotted. You can also expect the update to pack at least a few unspecified bug fixes as well.

As we see in most Google app updates these days, the rollout is a gradual one, though you can always check Google Play just in case. Notice any other changes to the app that we didn’t mention? Let us know about them in the comments below!
