Zero-Click Ordering

I don’t know about you, but take-away pizza is my cornerstone of a cozy Friday night in, or any night for that matter. Like most of you I expect, I’ve never really thought that ordering one was too much hassle, aside from deciding on toppings, but Domino’s has managed to streamline the process even further with the launch of its “Zero Click” app.

As the name implies, you can now order a pizza from Domino’s without any clicking or app navigating. Just launch the app and your food is on the way. Ok, so you have to spend a little bit of time setting up billing and delivery details, but after that you’re all set to go. Once you have a Domino’s account, you can setup an “Easy Order” pizza profile to create and save your favorite order, which is then tied to the app for speedy delivery.

You’d need not worry about ordering accidentally or clicking multiple times either. The app comes with a built in 10 second timer whereby you can prevent the order from going through by simply clicking on the cancel button.

This isn’t the first novel ordering idea rolled out by Domino’s. You can already order pizza through your smartwatch or TV, stick an “easy order” Flic button on your fridge, or even just by tweeting an emoji at the company.

If you want to try it out, US customers can download the Zero Click app for free from the Google Play Store. What a time to be alive.
