ARCHOS power

ARCHOS has released a number of high-quality, inexpensive Android smartphones over the past few years, and it looks like they’ve just unveiled four more. The French smartphone maker has just taken the wraps off the budget-friendly Cobalt and Power line of smartphones here at CES 2016.

The first two smartphones in the Power line are the ARCHOS 40 Power and ARCHOS 50 Power. The former is a 4-inch 3G-capable smartphone that comes with a quad-core processor, 8GB of on-board storage, and a 1900mAh battery that ARCHOS says can give users up to two full days of battery life on a single charge. The ARCHOS 50 Power is a 4G LTE-capable device that sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display, a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and an impressive 13MP rear camera. Both of the new Power phones will go on sale in May for 49,99€ and 129,99€, respectively.

The 50 Cobalt features a 5-inch display and 1GB of RAM, while the 55 Cobalt Plus comes with a slightly larger 5.5-inch screen and 2GB of RAM. Both devices are also available in 8 and 16GB storage variants with microSD card expansion. Additionally, the 50 Cobalt comes with an 8MP rear camera, and the 55 Cobalt Plus comes with a 13MP rear shooter. Both will be available in April 2016 for 99€ and 149€, respectively.
