Android Pay just added support for Capital One and a slew of other banks

In addition to adding Capital One support, Android Pay is welcoming a boatload of new banks onto their mobile payment service.

Holy cow. If you’ve been wanting to use Android Pay, but have been frustrated by the limited number of banks that are currently supported, then today might be the day your irritation ceases. Not only did the mobile payment service add the long-awaited banking entity Capital One to their list of supported financial institutions, they also added support for a proverbial cavalcade of smaller banks. Android Pay support is certainly on the rise. These are just the banks that gained support today; the full list can be found over at Android Pay’s Participating Banks landing page. This is on the tail of Android Pay expanding to the UK and becoming available on many more apps and mobile websites.
