Android Pay adds support for 44 more US banks and credit unions

Today, Android Pay is adding another 44 smaller and local US based banks and credit unions to its growing list of supported financial institutions.

Android Pay has been adding support for lots more US banks over the past few months, including major banking brand Chase, as well as introducing loyalty card integration and support for Uber. Today, the growing mobile payment platform is adding another 44 US based banks and credit unions to the list.

There aren’t any more major banks added this time around, as virtually all of the biggest banks are already supported. Instead, the latest batch adds support for a number of more local and smaller banks. It’s a pretty big list, but hopefully you’ll be able to spot your local bank below.

Meanwhile in the UK, Android Pay finally has the support of TSB, another one of the country’s largest banks. This follows an announcement just over a week ago that Santander, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Ulster Bank are also now supported in the country.
