What is Z-Art?

Z-Art is a finger painting application that lets you create images or draw over existing images. It comes with a gallery of 400 images that you can load and draw over if you want and they include memes. It’s currently free in the Google Play Store.

Here’s how Z-Art works. You can start with either a blank screen or with a pre-loaded image. From there you can draw, doodle, and alter as much as you want and then, predictably, you can share your final creation with your friends. There are a variety of brush styles including a sort of 3D brush that actually looks kind of fun. You can also select from a number of images that come with the application or use one of your own from your gallery if you prefer.

It’s all pretty straightforward so you won’t find a lot of surprises. The pre-installed images do include many of the more popular memes if you want to use those and there is a plugin available that makes this work better with WhatsApp. Most updates serve to fix bugs and add new content but updates are fairly infrequent.

Overall, there isn’t much here that separates it from other finger painting apps aside from the WhatsApp plugin. It is a solid app with a positive reputation and it is free with no in app purchases. If you do use WhatsApp, you have a higher motivation to give this a try than others do.
