A special way to celebrate a special milestone

In case you missed the news earlier this week, Android Authority reached the 2 million subscribers milestone on YouTube! At around 4:30am Eastern Time on Wednesday, we crossed 2 million subscribers and later the same day, we bought you a very unique look at the history of Android Authority on YouTube, and the videos that took us from the very first subscriber to the last of the 2 million subscribers.

Before we get into the special way we’re celebrating this milestone, let’s take a look at how we got to the 2 million subscribers mark. Whether you joined us as the very first subscriber, the last or somewhere in between, there’s likely to be at least one video you recognise and more than one video you don’t!

So how are we celebrating this milestone? A giveaway, of course! However, it’s not like any other giveaway we’ve had before and instead, we’re going to be giving away 24 prizes in 24 hours on YouTube. The prizes include everything from smartphones – including a couple of very unique smartphones – to speakers and accessories and one of the lucky 24 winners will win the grand prize:

How do you enter the giveaway we hear you ask? We’re not going to reveal exactly what you need to do… yet. To celebrate this YouTube milestone, it’s only fitting that we conduct this giveaway solely on YouTube so here’s how the giveaway will work:

At some point in the next 24 hours, we’ll be dropping a video on YouTube explaining exactly what you need to do to enter the giveaway. When this video launches, the giveaway will start and the 24 hour giveaway will begin. Every hour we’ll be drawing a new winner and we’ll be contacting all the winners once the giveaway ends.

You won’t find the giveaway video anywhere but YouTube so hit subscribe and stay tuned for an ultra special giveaway like no other!
