Xiaomi's top Mi Pad 5 model could pair 5G smarts with a 120Hz display
- Yet another certification agency has listed a new set of Xiaomi tablets, believed to be the Mi Pad 5 line.
- This time, a tablet trio passed through China’s 3C.
- The listing reveals the slates’ charging speeds and wireless tech support.
After a tablet believed to be a Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 model passed through the FCC last week, three variants of the line have now appeared at China’s 3C.
As spotted by tipster Digital Chat Station, the listing includes the three apparent Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 models mentioned in initial leaks.
For starters, model number 21051182C (also referred to as K82) is placed between its siblings, but will likely be the base model in the lineup. The 3C listing confirms the lack of mobile network support and a maximum charging speed of 33W. Notably, 21051182G was the variant that graced the FCC, so the C presumably denotes the Chinese variant. The FCC also pointed to 22.5W charging speeds for this device — this spec may vary between regions.
The flagship Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 models?
What about the other two tablets? Well, they’re a little more exciting. Model number M2105K81AC packs support for 67W charging but lacks mobile network support.
The other variant, wearing model number M2105K81C, features similar charging smarts but includes 5G connectivity. Notably, Digital Chat Station believes that these two will be the range’s flagship Mi Pad 5 models.

The tipster also shed light on additional specs. The two K81 models will reportedly pack the Snapdragon 870 SoC with a 2K 120Hz LCD. As for the K82, it’s expected to share similar screen specs with the Snapdragon 860 SoC instead. Previous reports suggest that this tab will also sport an 11-inch display and an 8,720mAh battery. The tablets will use either 48MP or 12MP shooters, per the tipster.

There’s still nothing from Xiaomi pointing to an upcoming tablet refresh. However, this is the third time we’ve spotted the apparent Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series passing through a major certification agency. This suggests that the firm is gearing up for an official launch sooner rather than later.
