Xiaomi Mi Note 10 teased for India: A 108MP beast is coming
2019 has seen the megapixel wars kick off once again, as we first saw 48MP and then 64MP cameras on smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 trumps prior efforts though, packing a 108MP main shooter.
The phone was announced in China (as the Mi CC9 Pro) and in Europe earlier this month, but Xiaomi is now teasing an imminent launch in India too. Check out the tweet below.

Itโs possible that weโre looking at a Mi Mix Alpha release, but itโs far more likely that Xiaomi is preparing to bring the Mi Note 10 to the Indian market. Then again, 91Mobiles reported last week that Xiaomi will bring the Mi Note 10 and limited numbers of the ~$2800 Mi Mix Alpha to India.
In any event, Indian users will be in for a treat if it is indeed the Mi Note 10. The phone packs a penta-lens camera setup on the rear, featuring two telephoto cameras (2x and 3.7x), a 20MP ultra-wide snapper, a 2MP macro lens, and the aforementioned 108MP primary camera.
Xiaomiโs device also offers an upper mid-range Snapdragon 730G processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of fixed storage, a 6.47-inch OLED screen with in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera in a waterdrop notch. The Mi Note 10 also stands out from the pack thanks to its massive, 5,260mAh battery with 30W charging.
Our own David Imel thought the phone offered a lot of value in his Mi Note 10 review, praising the battery life, versatile cameras, and addition of a 3.5mm port. But David also noted that picture quality saw a significant drop at night, especially when using the 108MP mode (as youโd expect).
The Mi Note 10 currently retails for โฌ550 in Europe, but Xiaomi phones are usually a little cheaper in India.
