The Xiaomi Black Shark gaming phone is coming to Europe on Nov. 16

When the Xiaomi Black Shark gaming phone launched in April, it was stuck as a Chinese exclusive. Now, it looks like Xiaomi is ready to bring the device to some other markets, as the company has just confirmed the Black Shark is coming to Europe on November 16.
Now, you might be wondering which countries in Europe will see the Black Shark. That’s a great question — one which Xiaomi hasn’t answered. The press release announcement of the release simply says “Europe,” so for now that’s all we got for you.
You might also be wondering how much the device will cost once it gets to “Europe.” Unfortunately, Xiaomi is tight-lipped on that information, too. However, the device costs between 2,999 and 3,499 Chinese yuan (~$430 — $530), which is about 380 to 444 euros. Therefore, it’s relatively safe to assume it will cost between 400 and 500 euros.

The Xiaomi Black Shark features a 6-inch, 2.5D, 2160 x 1080 resolution display, Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. It’s all powered by Android 8.1 Oreo, which we presume will be upgraded to Android 9 Pie at some point. It comes in two colors: Polar Night and Sky Gray.
We will update this article when we get confirmation from Xiaomi on where the Black Shark will specifically launch and how much it will cost. In the meantime, put November 16 on your calendar.
