In 2018, The Disney Channel debuted Zombies. It’s was the cable channel’s latest preteen-themed movie musical, but with a big twist. The twist is that in the movie’s world, zombies exist. Not only that, but these undead humans can still talk and act like normal humans . . . most of the time. In 2020, the sequel, Zombies 2, made its Disney Channel debut to high ratings. As of Friday, August 14, Zombies 2 is on Disney Plus. You can sign up for the service at the link below:

What is Zombies 2?

As we said,  this movie is the sequel to the 2018 musical Zombies. The backstory is that 50 years ago, an accident at a power plant near the town of Seabrook turned half of its population into the undead with a taste for human flesh. However, the remaining living humans created a special collar that, when placed on a zombie’s neck, would turn it back to acting like a regular human. The movie follows a teen zombie, Zed, who goes from Zombietown to the human half of Seabrook. He becomes a student at  Seabrook High, and falls in love with a human, Addison. They manage to convince both humans and zombies they can live together instead of apart. You can watch the original Zombies now on Disney Plus.

The sequel, Zombies 2, ups the monster quota as we learn that there are also werewolves in this universe. They want to find a secret moonstone so they can keep living in this world. As with the first movie, Zombies 2 will once again feature Zed and Addison as they continue their teen romance. You can now watch Zombies 2 on Disney Plus at the link below:
