Wallpaper Wednesday: More great phone wallpapers for all to share (September 30)

Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday! In this weekly roundup, we’ll give you a handful of Android wallpapers you can download and use on your phone, tablet, or even your laptop/PC. The images will come from folks here at Android Authority as well as our readers. All are free to use and come without watermarks. File formats are JPG and PNG, and we’ll provide images in both landscape and portrait modes, so they’ll be optimized for various screens.

Wallpaper Wednesday: September 30, 2026

Another week, another set of awesome Android wallpapers for you to share! Remember that we are always looking for submissions from our readers. Head to the bottom of this article to find out how you could have one of your images featured in an upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday!

With that in mind, we’ve got six awesome images from our readers that would look great on your phone, tablet, or PC. As usual, we also have three images from the Android Authority team.

We’re back with another set of great wallpapers, but which of these is worthy of your screen time? Let’s talk a bit about them and learn more about these images.

As usual, the first three wallpapers come from our team members at Android Authority. The first one comes from Bogdan Petrovan, one of our content directors. Not only is this a gorgeous image with beautiful flowers, composed in a way that will look great as a phone wallpaper, but he also did a great job with the color editing. The toned-down colors and hazy ambiance make for a very moody look. I happen to love it, and I know many of you will, too.

The second shot comes courtesy of Akshay Singh Gangwar. What a point of view, right? This is a very interesting angle, and it makes for an image that will look quite interesting as a wallpaper. The balance, busy city feeling, and composition are way too fascinating.

As for the third wallpaper, this one was captured by Jonathan Feist during his recent trip to Scotland. You’ll love this one if you’re a fan of the ocean. The pebbles, mixed in with shells and other patterns, tell a story as old as time. One you can try to decipher whenever you look at your phone!

OK, it’s time to move on to the wallpapers that matter: yours! It’s a picture of a flower against a mesmerizing sky, creating a silhouette effect. This one comes all the way from Long An, Vietnam, and it was captured by Minh Diem, using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. He also sent us the 5th image, which showcases a very interesting look at a rainy day. I can’t pinpoint exactly what I like about this image, but it really calls me. It looks like some kind of movie scene.

Next up is a very interesting look at Azerbaijan. The evening lighting, classic car, and overall look give this image a very interesting style. The moody aesthetic helps, too. This was sent in by Shaukat Hayat, who shot this using a vivo Y33S.

We seem to be in a bit of a streak! Last week, one of the highlighted wallpapers featured a dragonfly, and the interesting animal species is back this Wallpaper Wednesday! These animals are special, and Lisa C got the chance to capture an image of one, using a Motorola Signature.

Are you a moon admirer? Getting to see it during the daytime is especially unique, and Surendran managed to also get a great picture of it! He used a Google Pixel 8a.

Lastly, we have a very unique flower image, brought to you by Minenhle Msizi Dube. It was edited using Snapseed and captured during a daily forest walk. Minenhle Msizi Dube has been featured in Wallpaper Wednesday before, so welcome back, and thank you for the contributions!

How to submit your own Android wallpapers

We are very excited to see your own contributions to our Wallpaper Wednesdays project. Before submitting, here are the rules:

• Your submissions should be your own creation. That means photos you took, digital art you created, etc. Please don’t submit other people’s work — that’s just not cool. Also, please don’t send images purely created with AI. They will not be accepted. Images you created and then augmented with AI tools are OK.
• You must agree to let Android Authority share your Android wallpapers for free with anyone who wants them.
• We will not accept watermarked images. You will, however, get a credit and a link in the article itself. We can link to your social media account only.

Ready to submit? Fill out the form below. You’ll need to include the highest-resolution version of the image you can provide, your name, and a brief description of what the image is. If you want us to link to a social media page you own in your credit, please provide that, too, but that’s optional.
