Wallpaper Wednesday: October 21, 2026
Another week, another set of awesome Android wallpapers for you to share! Remember that we are always looking for submissions from our readers. Head to the bottom of this article to find out how you could have one of your images featured in an upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday!
Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority?
- Set us as a favorite source in Google Discover to never miss our latest exclusive reports, expert analysis, and much more.
- You can also set us as a preferred source in Google Search.
We’ve got six awesome images from our readers that would look great on your phone, tablet, or PC. As usual, we also have three images from the Android Authority team.
Editor’s note: Keep in mind that the images below have been compressed and optimized to improve website performance. This means the quality has been reduced, and these are for demonstration purposes only. To get the full-resolution files, download the wallpapers from this drive link.
I have my eye on a few of these, and I am sure you do, too. Ready to learn a bit more about these?
Let’s start with a few Android Authority team submissions. The first one comes from one of our content directors, Bogdan Petrovan. The image just screams fun, vacations, and pleasure. If you need a little something to keep you inspired and remind you of great times, this image is perfectly fitting.
Maybe you get more inspiration from historical architecture. If so, Jonathan Feist has submitted a very interesting image of a castle staircase. He shot it during a recent trip to Scotland. This wallpaper will also look great, as it plays on patterns and geometric shapes in a very alluring manner.
Lastly, at least for our team submissions, we have an image of splashing water by Paul Jones. Admiring water’s chaos is always interesting, especially if you can freeze a moment in time like this. It’s a fleeting view we don’t often get to admire in person.
Now it’s time to move on to our readers’ wallpapers, which are really the ones that matter, as they give us a quick view into their worlds. Our readers come from different walks of life and places all over the world, making them all very unique and interesting.
The fourth wallpaper, from Gryczen, features a gorgeous sunset. This is a view we always tend to marvel at. I mean, I have taken multi-day trips to catch sunsets, so I can understand why many of you would love to have that moment at your fingertips. It was shot using a Samsung Galaxy A54.
I am kind of obsessed with cats, so the 5th wallpaper really calls to me. It’s just an adorable white cat looking at some plants! What’s not to like? This one was shot by Minh Diem, using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Lastly, we have an image from Bhuvan L. He took this image of a bird in Bangalore, India, using a Nikon D3400. Birds represent freedom and beauty, and this image conveys both perfectly.
These are all amazing, guys! Great work. Thank you so much for participating. Again, be sure to download these photos in their high resolutions from this Drive link!
This is Halloween!

Did you start singing after reading that header? I know I did when I wrote it. Halloween is one of the most popular holidays, and I am feeling festive. This is why the rest of this month’s Wallpaper Wednesdays will be Halloween-themed!
Do you have any spooky images? Maybe you have some shots of some pumpkin carvings, or Fall settings. If they resemble the Halloween spirit in any way, we’d love to feature your photos in the upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday posts. Please send them over!
Also, do we have any Day of the Dead fans out there? It would be lovely to see those wallpapers, too.
How to submit your own Android wallpapers
We are very excited to see your own contributions to our Wallpaper Wednesdays project. Just keep in mind that there are some rules to keep in mind:
- Your submissions should be your own creation. That means photos you took, digital art you created, etc. Please don’t submit other people’s work — that’s just not cool (not to mention it is illegal in most jurisdictions). Also, please don’t send images purely created with AI. They will not be accepted. Images you created and then augmented with AI tools are OK.
- You must agree to let Android Authority share your Android wallpapers for free with anyone who wants them.
- We will not accept watermarked images. You will, however, get a credit and a link in the article itself. We can link to your social media account only.
Ready to submit? Fill out the form below. You’ll need to include the highest-resolution version of the image you can provide, your name, and a brief description of what the image is. If you want us to link to a social media page you own in your credit, please provide that, too, but that’s optional.
Thank you for being part of our community. Read our Comment Policy before posting.
