Wallpaper Wednesday: October 14, 2026

Another week, another set of awesome Android wallpapers for you to share! Remember that we are always looking for submissions from our readers. Head to the bottom of this article to find out how you could have one of your images featured in an upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday!

Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority?

With that in mind, we’ve got six awesome images from our readers that would look great on your phone, tablet, or PC. As usual, we also have three images from the Android Authority team.

Editor’s note: Keep in mind that the images below have been compressed and optimized to improve website performance. This means the quality has been reduced, and these are for demonstration purposes only. To get the full-resolution files, download the wallpapers from this drive link.

See anything you like? I have my eye on a few of these. Let’s go over them to give you a bit of context.

As usual, the first three wallpapers come from our team members, here at Android Authority. The first image comes from Bogdan Petrovan, one of our content directors. The wallpaper features an organized series of sunbeds, which obviously reminds us of vacation time at the beach. If you have a vacation planned and need a daily reminder to keep you inspired, here it is!

Now, if you prefer a window view into Asia, the second wallpaper might be more fitting. This one comes from Akshay Singh Gangwar. The image has a very interesting mood, looking almost cinematic. I am a fan of it.

Lastly, for our Android Authority team submissions, there is a photo of a classic red phone booth. Jonathan Feist captured it during his recent travels to Scotland.

OK, it’s time to move on to the wallpapers that really matter: Yours! Are you a fan of kitties? I am, and the 4th wallpaper is all about that peaceful emotion these majestic creatures usually represent. It’s a very interesting view of a cat on the roof, which we don’t often get to see! That’s usually where they go to be away from us. This one was submitted by Minh Diem, who captured it with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Next up, we have a couple of very special images from Harlley Sathler. Not only are these aesthetically pleasing, but they also carry deep meaning. The fifth and sixth wallpapers are images of the same jabuticaba tree, but in different seasons. Apparently, this tree was planted by the submitter’s great-great-grandfather. Now it bears delicious fruit and makes for really cool wallpapers for us to share.

Minenhle Msizi Dube is now a commonly featured photographer in our Wallpaper Wednesday series, and here is the latest submission. I like the submitter’s moody scenes. This one features the administration building from the University of Zululand. Thanks again!

At first sight, you may think the eighth wallpaper’s subject is the flower. Look closer! There’s a gorgeous bird in there, hiding in plain sight. Great work, Bhuvan L. This was shot using a Nikon D3400 in Bangalore, India.

Lastly, we have a beautiful, serene look at some people canoeing at a lake. This image is brought to us by Andrei Grigorev. It takes place in Lebyazhye Lake, in Kazakhstan. What a view.

These are all amazing, guys! Great work. Thank you so much for participating. Again, be sure to download these photos in their high resolutions from this Drive link!

This is Halloween!

Did you start singing after reading that header? I know I did when I wrote it. Halloween is one of the most popular holidays, and I am feeling festive. This is why the rest of this month’s Wallpaper Wednesdays will be Halloween-themed!

Do you have any spooky images? Maybe you have some shots of some pumpkin carvings, or Fall settings. If they resemble the Halloween spirit in any way, we’d love to feature your photos in the upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday posts. Please send them over!

Also, do we have any Day of the Dead fans out there? It would be lovely to see those wallpapers, too.

How to submit your own Android wallpapers

We are very excited to see your own contributions to our Wallpaper Wednesdays project. Before submitting, here are the rules:

  • Your submissions should be your own creation. That means photos you took, digital art you created, etc. Please don’t submit other people’s work — that’s just not cool. Also, please don’t send images purely created with AI. They will not be accepted. Images you created and then augmented with AI tools are OK.
  • You must agree to let Android Authority share your Android wallpapers for free with anyone who wants them.
  • We will not accept watermarked images. You will, however, get a credit and a link in the article itself. We can link to your social media account only.

Ready to submit? Fill out the form below. You’ll need to include the highest-resolution version of the image you can provide, your name, and a brief description of what the image is. If you want us to link to a social media page you own in your credit, please provide that, too, but that’s optional.

Thank you for being part of our community. Read our Comment Policy before posting.
