Amazon drops the rugged Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 speaker to $64.99

Amazon has knocked 19% off the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4, bringing it down to $64.99 from its $79.99 recommended retail price. That saves you $15, and it’s a good time to grab a portable speaker built for travel, the pool, or the backyard.

The Wonderboom 4 is a compact Bluetooth speaker made for taking your music outside. It emits 360-degree sound, so the audio spreads in every direction rather than firing straight ahead. It also has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, and it is designed to float, which is handy for pool days or beach trips.

Battery life is rated at up to 14 hours, so it can keep going through a day out without needing a charge. There is also an Outdoor Boost mode for open-air listening, plus a Podcast mode tuned for clearer vocals when you are listening to talk shows or interviews.

If you want a bigger sound, you can pair two Wonderboom 4 speakers. That includes a stereo mode with separate left and right channels. The speaker is also described as rugged enough to handle drops of up to 5 feet, and it offers a wireless range of up to 40 meters.

Buyers seem happy with it too, with a 4.4-star rating on Amazon. At $64.99, this is a solid discount on a speaker that is built to go just about anywhere.
